These terms apply when you book a session, retreat, course, video or any other offering from Seetal Deva (contact balance@seetaldeva.com). By placing a booking you agree to them.
1. Who you're contracting with
Your contract for the service itself is with Seetal Deva. Card payments are collected by our reseller Paddle (see section 4).
2. The offerings
Sessions, gatherings, retreats and courses are complementary wellbeing practices. They are not a substitute for medical, mental health, legal or financial advice. If you have a medical condition please check with your doctor before booking bodywork or a retreat.
3. Booking & confirmation
- Bookings are provisional until payment is received.
- Wise bank transfers are confirmed manually by Seetal within one working day. Card payments (via Paddle) are confirmed instantly.
- Card checkouts that aren't completed within 30 minutes are automatically cancelled and released back to availability.
4. Payments & Merchant of Record
Our order process for card payments is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our card orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns for card payments. Their buyer terms are here: paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.
Bank transfers via Wise are collected directly by Seetal Deva. Card payments include a small processing surcharge shown transparently at checkout.
5. Cancellations, reschedules & refunds
Our full refund and reschedule terms are in the Refund Policy. In short: 1:1 sessions can be moved or refunded up to 48 hours before; retreat and course deposits are transferable within 12 months and balances refundable up to 30 days before the event.
6. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate contact details so we can reach you.
- Arrive on time; late arrivals may shorten your session.
- Don't share recorded content, course material or private videos outside your personal use.
- Don't use the site to attempt fraud, spam, scraping, or any activity that interferes with security.
7. Intellectual property
All course material, videos, written practices and site content are © Seetal Deva. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own practice. No resale or redistribution.
8. Recordings & consent
Group sessions may be recorded for participants who couldn't attend live. You'll be told before recording starts and can opt out of appearing on camera.
9. Suspension & termination
We may cancel a booking or refuse service for non-payment, abusive behaviour, breach of these terms, or if we reasonably believe the booking is fraudulent. Where a service isn't delivered because of our decision, we refund the amount paid.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service that gave rise to it. We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
11. Force majeure
If an event beyond our reasonable control (illness, travel disruption, natural disaster, government restriction) prevents a gathering from going ahead, we'll offer a transfer to a future date or a refund of amounts paid for the affected event.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Disputes go to the courts of Queensland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have in your own country.
13. Changes
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one shown on this page on the date of your booking.
